Details

Restasis Ophthalmic Emulsion is a Cyclosporine ophthalmic solution and is prescribed to treat chronic dry eye condition. Chronic Dry Eye ailment can happen when the patient is not able to make enough of tears. It is an effective immunomodulator and decreases the inflammation in the eye and allows tear production. It enhances the patient's eyes natural ability to produce tears, which may be decreased by inflammatory conditions. This ophthalmic emulsion does not   increase tear formation in patients already using tear medication or anti-inflammatory eye drops.

Generic Cyclosporine works by decreasing the activity of the immune system. It forms a complex with cyclophilin and results in calcineurin complex formation. After this, the transcription of interleukin gets blocked, reducing the activity of the immune system
